# Trading

> Connect Bybit or Lime and trade from the workspace you chart in, with Order Entry, chart trading, the order book, and the Account widget.

Trading

Trade where you analyze

Connect a Bybit or Lime account and place orders from the same workspace you chart in. Your broker or exchange holds the funds and executes the orders; TakeProfit is the interface.

## Choose where you trade

Two venues are live, each for a different market.

> **[Crypto on Bybit](https://takeprofit.com/docs/guide/trading/exchange-account.md)**
>
> Spot and perpetual contracts. Connect with Fast Connect or API keys, then trade from Order Entry, the chart, and the order book, with up to **50%** of fees back through Cashback.

> **[US stocks on Lime](https://takeprofit.com/docs/guide/platform/lime-widget/lime-widget-overview.md)**
>
> US stocks and ETFs through Lime Trading, a New York agency broker. You trade in the Lime Order and Lime Portfolio widgets, which Lime builds and maintains.

Binance for crypto and Exness for forex are planned. [Brokers and exchanges](https://takeprofit.com/docs/guide/trading/brokers) compares the venues and tracks what is coming.

## Order types at a glance

| Surface | Orders |
| - | - |
| **Order Entry** | Market or Limit. A trigger price (Last, Mark, or Index) makes it a stop: Conditional Market or Conditional Limit. Add Take Profit, Stop Loss, or Reduce-Only. |
| **Chart context menu** | Limit, Stop, or Stop Limit at the price you right-click. It opens as a preview in Order Entry. |
| **Account widget** | Shows each order as Limit, Market, Conditional Limit, or Conditional Market. Stops and standalone TP/SL orders are conditional. |

## Good to know

* **Bybit EU isn't supported.** Accounts registered on `bybit.eu` can't be connected; use a standard Bybit account.
* **Order Entry, chart trading, and the Account widget work with Bybit.** Lime runs in its own widgets, under Lime's rules.
* **Estimated fees are approximate.** The fee in Order Entry is an estimate from exchange data; Bybit charges the final amount.
* **Account figures can lag.** Equity and buying power may take a moment to catch up with the exchange.
* **Portfolio margin mode hides buying power and leverage** for derivatives, because the exchange recalculates them from the whole portfolio.
* **Some contracts need Bybit's Trading Terms.** TradFi Perpetuals such as `XAUUSDT` require a one-time agreement on bybit.com — see [the troubleshooting steps](https://takeprofit.com/docs/guide/trading/order-form.md#you-must-agree-to-the-trading-terms-before-trading-this-contract).
