# Drawing Tools

> Every drawing tool on the TakeProfit chart, grouped by the job it does: trend lines, Fibonacci, patterns, trade plans, shapes, and notes, plus snapping, sync, and shortcuts.

Put your analysis on the chart

Trend lines, Fibonacci levels, chart patterns, and volume tools. Snap them to prices, sync them across charts, and reach most tools with a single shortcut.

## Search Drawings

Press **Cmd/Ctrl + S**, or click the magnifier at the left end of the toolbar, to open **Search drawings**. Type any part of a tool's name and it filters the full list — every drawing tool on the chart, under the same headings as the toolbar.

Along the top sit the toggles you would otherwise hunt for — **Strong magnet**, **Hide all drawings**, **Lock all drawings**, **Keep drawing**, **Hotkeys** and **Remove all drawings** — and below them **Sync new drawings**, which sets whether a new drawing lands as **Global**, **Workspace**, **Channel** or **Local**.

Each tool in the list shows its shortcut. Hover one to **add a hotkey** to a tool that has none, or to **star** it into your favorites.

    Magnet mode snaps points to highs and lows. Hold Cmd/Ctrl to snap to every open, high, low, and close.

    Style it once & Keep Drawing
    Adjust lines, levels, and text, keep drawing until you need, then save it as a template or a favorite.

## Where a drawing shows up

Every drawing has a sync level that decides which charts display it. Set it in the drawing's settings or in the [Object Tree](https://takeprofit.com/docs/guide/platform/chart-widget/Object-tree.md).

| **Local** (default) | Only the chart you drew it on |
| **Channel** | Every chart in the same [linked channel](https://takeprofit.com/docs/guide/getting-started/Widget-Hub.md#widget-linking) |
| **Workspace** | Every chart in the current workspace |
| **Global** | Every chart in every workspace |

Drawings also hold their place across timeframes: a level drawn on 1H sits at the same price on the daily. A chart you forked into a workspace as an unlinked widget counts as a separate chart, so raise the sync level if a Local drawing should appear there too.
